A GMC van, a cup of hot coffee, and the road back to the Ozarks have brought Al Timberlane and his wife, Becky Timberlane, back home to the Ozarks after another productive stretch of traveling, filming, interviewing and preserving American stories.

October opens with Timberlane Entertainment LLC back around Mountain View, Arkansas, with new interviews, films, photographs, radio material and stories being prepared for The Ozark American Songbook™ and Folk Music Rewind™.
Al Timberlane is owner and founder of Timberlane Entertainment LLC and a volunteer DJ at KWMV 88.5 FM in Mountain View. The Al Timberlane Show airs Mondays from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m., bringing listeners music, interviews, local stories and special features from the continuing work to preserve American music and community history.

October 9–10 brings the Stringband Music & Arts Festival at the Ozark Folk Center State Park, with two days of stringband music, dance, handcrafted art and Ozark traditions.
On Saturday, October 10, Timberlane and KWMV head to the OK Trading Post Old-Time Front Porch Jam from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The afternoon features local musicians and pickers along with a special full concert by the Jacob Austin Band.

The month continues October 16–17 with the Heritage Herb Garden Fall Harvest Festival at the Ozark Folk Center State Park, followed October 23–24 by Bean Fest and the Championship Outhouse Races in Mountain View.
After many miles on the American road, it feels good to be home. The cameras are still rolling, the microphones are still on, and there are plenty more American stories ahead.
People. Places. Music. Stories.
